Questions

Is Half really free?

Yes. There are no daily limits, no ads and no paid tier. Receipt scanning, charts, currency conversion and everything else is included.

Do I need an account?

No. Make a group and share its link. If you want your groups on more than one device you can optionally sign in with your email, with no password.

Can I move over from Splitwise?

Yes. Export your group from Splitwise as a spreadsheet, then import it in Half's group settings. Balances carry over exactly.

Does Half move money?

No. Pay links open Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or UPI with the amount filled in. Half only keeps track of who owes whom.
